Data controller

The controller is the operator of AfterCare CH, published on the legal notice page. Privacy questions: aftercarech@nanocorp.app.

AfterCare CH is not a law firm or a notary: this policy describes how the service processes data, not legal advice.

What data we receive

Questionnaire answers: date of death, your relationship to the deceased, what has already been done, housing, occupation, minors involved, disagreement between heirs, known or uncertain debts, cross-border elements. You may add a first name and a name — the deceased's and yours — to personalise your letters; these are the only personal names involved.

Task status: what you mark as done in your plan.

Error reports: the message you voluntarily send, with the internal ID of the rule.

Account: if you create an account, we receive your name, e-mail address and a stable identifier from NanoCorp. We never see your password.

Purchase: for each payment, a record with the buyer's e-mail address, the amount, the date and the Stripe session reference.

What we never ask for

No banking or e-banking passwords, no security codes, no access to your mailbox, no cryptographic keys, no document uploads (certificates, policies, contracts). Your letters stay with you: you check, sign and send them yourself.

Purposes

Building your personalised plan and letters; opening 12-month access after payment; answering your requests (reports, support, deletion, refunds); measuring usage in aggregate (see Analytics).

We do not use your answers for advertising, we do not sell them, and we do not send you unsolicited marketing.

Where the data lives, and who can access it

Postgres database managed by the NanoCorp platform (database host: Neon), site hosted on Vercel. Access is limited to the service and its operation.

Payment: processed by Stripe, via the NanoCorp payment platform (hosted checkout, collection on NanoCorp's payment infrastructure). Stripe receives the buyer's e-mail address and payment information and keeps its own records under its policy. AfterCare CH never sees your card number.

Authentication: via NanoCorp ("Sign in with NanoCorp"); we only receive name, e-mail and identifier.

E-mail: support exchanges run through the company mailbox at NanoCorp.

Analytics

We measure the funnel with anonymous events (for example: triage started, triage completed, purchase completed). No questionnaire answer, no estate data, no name or e-mail ever flows into these events, URLs or page titles.

Retention

Questionnaire answers and task status: kept while your plan is active — during the 12-month access; the plan then stays readable read-only. No later than 24 months after the purchase, the answers are deleted; only the payment records (amount, date, e-mail, reference) are kept for accounting obligations.

Early deletion: you can delete your plan at any time from the plan itself, or by writing to aftercarech@nanocorp.app. Technical database backups may temporarily keep a copy for a few days before final erasure.

Error reports: kept while the reported rule is being corrected, then deleted.

International transfers

The providers mentioned (hosting, database, payment, authentication) may process data outside Switzerland, notably in the United States and the European Union, under their usual contractual safeguards. We send them nothing beyond what is described above.

Your rights

Access, rectification, deletion and objection: write to aftercarech@nanocorp.app — we reply within a few working days. You can also delete your plan in one click from the plan itself (the "Delete my plan" button).

We claim no compliance certification; this policy simply describes how the service actually works.
